Landscaping
When we moved into our house the previous owners had not properly attended to the landscaping in quite some time. In addition, there was a serious drainage problem in the backyard. We decided to rip everything out and start with a clean slate. This included installing 3 4ft drywells in the backyard, 60ft of french drains, 7000lbs of natural stone, 15cu. yards of fill dirt, 700ft of sprinkler lines, and 1600 sq ft of sod. It took us about 8wks and we did it all by ourselves.

Patio/Walkway
During the rainy seaon in Oregon, the walkway around the house becomes a muddy mess. To alleviate this issue, Britain put in a concrete walkway around the house, extended the current patio and added a large patio. He has lots of work to go as he plans to cover it all in flagstone, add an arbor, and extend the current patio awning.

Arbor/Flowerbeds
It is summer again and time to start working on the backyard again. Britain put up this beautiful Ceder Arbor in a weekend. We then filled in some more planters with flowers and bushes. It is coming together.
